Darren founded the company we see today over 20 years ago and has over 30 years experience within the electrical industry. He is highly qualified in electrical science, installation practices, and has trained many new electricians throughout his career.
Chris joined DNW Electrical in 2020. Chris has brought a wealth of previous experience to the company along with a fresh outlook. He has become an integral part of the company being made a partner and Director in 2023. Fully qualified as an Approved Electrician he has also recently completed the BPEC Solar PV and Battery Storage qualification. He also hold his 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification and has a huge portfolio of installation practices behind him.
Claire founded the company alongside Darren over 20 years ago. Claire is ACCA part qualified in management accountancy and has looked after the company financial affairs from the outset. Claires interests include running, hiking and general fitness.
Sam joined the office Team in 2025. She has a wealth of experience in managerial retail roles, bringing her expertise onboard she has quickly adapted to our industry and has been streamlining the back office since day one. Keeping all the team aligned she is always looking to improve and help anyone with their administration and input with the office. Bringing a big smile and lots of enthusiasm sam has become an integral part of the DNW team.
Sam joined DNW Electrical in 2019, he had been through his Level 1 & 2 while in other employment but hadn’t had any experience on site in the industry. Sam has now completed his Level 3 qualification along with his AM2 installation practices and has a wealth of experience in all sectors. Sam is 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing qualified.
Kyle joined DNW Electrical in early 2022. Kyle came into the electrical industry in 2017 after 10 years in the fitness and health industry. DNW assisted Kyle in achieving his final electrical level 3 qualifications and AM2. In April 2025, Kyle was sent for further development and training, and was successful in achieving his C&G 2391 inspection and testing qualification.
Lewis joined the Team at DNW mid 2025. Lewis had completed his exams and almost completed his apprenticeship with several years experience on site under his belt, unfortunately becoming unemployed he was unable to complete his portfolio. Maintaining employement elswhere he was unable to return to his course. Reaching out to DNW, after a successful interview we decided Lewis would be a great addition to the team. Working closely with City College Norwich, we were able to re-enrol Lewis onto his course and he is now mid way through completing his Portfolio and becoming a fully qualified electrician.
Lewis is the most recent apprentice to join the team at DNW Electrical in 2023. Lewis is about to enrol on his first year at City College Norwich, Level 1 Electrical Installation. Lewis’s interests include keeping his fitness levels up at the gym, playing football and fishing.
Cain joined the Team at DNW early 2025 after completing his first years of apprenticeship with another company. He struggled to find the variation of electrical works needed to complete his apprenticship so reached out to us for employement and to complete his apprentiship. He has become another valued member of the Team and is almost at the end of his apprentiship.

Theres no better way than to train your own staff from a young age into the professional personnel every business strives to have. Since DNW Electrical was founded over 20 years ago we have trained in excess of 7 electricians from leaving secondary school all the way through to fully qualified and beyond into additional electrical training on specialist fields of electrical work. Working with local academy’s and training providers we look for new prospective trainees who are enthusiastic and passionate about becoming an electrical expert in our field of work.
