Hellesdon High School Sports Hall.

Design and installation of LED lights and emergency lighting in Hellesdon High School Sports Hall. From the sprung loaded flooring only being able to support a limited amount of weight, to the extreme height of the ceiling – this project came with some interesting challenges.

Overview

Lighting upgrade and reduction in running costs.

The number of fittings in the hall were reduced down from 46 to 25 and with the wattage of a single fitting halved the yearly savings of the running costs were astronomical.

Also installed were six high level, high output emergency bulkheads with a separate battery system installed in the adjacent plant room to reduce any requirement of needing to get up to the fittings for maintenance.
